you know just a few days ago me and my dad were watching air disasters and he was telling me about how the (at-the-time-of-airing, several years ago) prototype technology of onboard GPS monitoring had made navigation so much safer

#our main disagreement is that scaling train infrastructure up with demand is much much easier than scaling air travel up with demand #you see any airbus a380s in production lately?? no because they stopped fucking making em because megaplanes are inefficient #and small-hop contributes to heavy traffic #i have no problem with hub-and-spoke air travel but they have GOT to establish alternate methods especially on high-demand routes #diversification insulates customers from price-gouging and the transportation industry from unforeseen breakdowns in the system #you have SEEN every airline except southwest be grounded you need to open your mind to more flexible infrastructure
